Content-Aware blocked read/write message


 

You can define a Content-Aware blocked read/write message (notification balloon) to be displayed to users when they try to read/write a file or transfer the data to which they are denied access. By default, DeviceLock displays only the Content-Aware blocked write message.

 

Enable Content-Aware Blocked Message

Enables or disables the display of the Content-Aware blocked read/write message. Select the Enable Content-Aware Blocked Message check box to enable the display of the message. Clear the Enable Content-Aware Blocked Message check box to disable the display of the message.

 

Blocked Message Caption

Specifies the text to display in the title bar of the message balloon. By default, the Blocked Message Caption text is as follows: DeviceLock Security Subsystem.

 

Blocked Message Text

Specifies the text to display in the message balloon. By default, the Blocked Message Text for the Content-Aware blocked read message is as follows: You do not have permissions to read "%FILENAME%". Please contact your system administrator. 

where %FILENAME% is the path and file name of the file to be inserted. 

 

By default, the Blocked Message Text for the Content-Aware blocked write message is as follows: You do not have permissions to send data/file "%FILENAME%" via "%CHANNEL_NAME%". Please contact your system administrator..

where %FILENAME% is the path and file name of the file to be inserted; %CHANNEL_NAME% is a data transmission channel to be inserted.
