The section explains how to create a ERP MA in FIM.

To add the ERP MA to FIM
  1. On the Tools menu of the FIM client, click Management Agents. On the Actions menu, click Create. In Management Agent Designer, in Management Agent Type, click the SAP R/3 MA (Microsoft).

  2. Complete the form with the following information:

    • Name - type a name for the Management Agent. The ERP MA should be given the same name as the files created through the ERP MA Configuration. You cannot name the MA "SAPMA" as this will cause conflicts between the MA and the extension dll.

    • Description - type a description for the Management Agent.

  3. Configure any additional parameter needed for the ERP MA.

    • If you have configured a paginated full-import of employees you should enter a character-set filters and iteration debt value here. See the How To Configure Paginated Imports for more information.

    • Also, see the Appendix section for a complete list of additional parameters that the ERP MA recognizes.

  4. Importing CS-schema for ERP MA. When prompted for a schema file, browse and point to the cs-schema file created by the ERP MA Configuration Tool. By default this should have been saved to your FIMInstallDirectory\Extensions folder.

  5. Configure Attribute (optional). This page allows you to further configure the attribute in the CS for ERP MA. Consult the FIM documentation for more information.

  6. Map Object Types. This page allows to map your CS object type to metaverse objects.

  7. Define Object Types (optional). This has already been done by the ERP MA Configuration Tool. Select Next to continue.

  8. Configure Connector Filter (optional). If you have custom filter to do special data manipulation, you may add and configure it here.

  9. Configure Join and Projection Rules. Configure a join/projection rule here to flow data in and out of the CS for ERP MA. Consult the FIM documentation for more information.

  10. Configure Attribute Flow. Configure how and where you want the ERP MA CS-attribute to flow into the metaverse.

  11. Configure De provisioning. Configure what happens to an object when it's be deprovisioned. Consult the FIM documentation for more information.

    • The only supported password operation is Set Password.

  13. Click Finish to complete.
