ESET SysRescue CD

ESET SysRescue is a utility which enables you to create a bootable disk containing ESET NOD32 Antivirus (EAV) or ESET Smart Security (ESS). The main advantage of ESET SysRescue is the fact that ESS or EAV runs independent of the host operating system, while it has a direct access to the disk and the entire filesystem. Thanks to this it is possible to remove those infiltrations that normally could not be deleted, e.g. when the operating system is running, etc.
ESET SysRescue works in the Microsoft Windows Preinstallation Environment (Windows PE) version 2.x, which is based on Windows Vista. Windows PE is a part of the free package Windows Automated Installation Kit (Windows AIK), and therefore Windows AIK must be installed before creating ESET SysRescue CD (Windows AIK version 936330AIK needs to be installed: http://www.microsoft.com/Downloads/details.aspx?familyid=94BB6E34-D890-4932-81A5-5B50C657DE08&displaylang=en).
