Managing the manager sumfinal database

The ESM manager stores policy run summary data from its registered agents in the Manager SumFinal database. The ESM console uses this data to do the following:

By default, managers limit the policy run summary data and the module message details that are retained in the manager sumfinal databases. You can change these settings with the ESM console.

To set the policy run message count (per-user setting)

  1. On the Edit menu, click GUI options.

  2. Do one of the following:

    • Type a new value to change the Maximum policy run message count. Reports that reach this limit contain a red message.

    • Check the No message count limit check box.
