About changing the ESM console password

You must enter a password for your ESM console account when you first create the account, and each time you log on the ESM console. Change the ESM console password regularly to ensure that it has not been cracked or guessed. ESM console account passwords can have up to 32 characters.

To change the ESM console password

  1. On the ESM console menu, click Edit > Change Password.

  2. In the Current Password text box, type the current password.

  3. In the New Password text box, type the new password.

  4. In the Confirm New Password text box, retype the new password.

  5. Click OK to save the changes.
