About executing multiple modules

If you want to run some but not all modules in a policy, use the Policy Run wizard to specify which modules to run.

To execute multiple modules

  1. Do one of the following:

    • On the ESM toolbar, click Policy Run Wizard.

    • On the enterprise tree, right-click the Policy Runs node, and then click New.

  2. Select a manager, and then click Next.

  3. Select a policy, and then click Next.

  4. Select the modules to include in the policy run, and then click Next.

    By default, all modules are selected. To select a range of modules, click the first item in the range, then hold down Shift while you click the last item. To select non sequential modules, hold down Ctrl as you click.

  5. Select a domain, and then click Next.

  6. Select one or more agents, and then click Next.

  7. Do one of the following:

    • To save the setting and run the policy with the default maximum number of messages, click Next > Finish.

    • Change the maximum number of messages allowed.

    • Schedule the policy run for a later time.
