Use the Trend Datapoints dialog box to set the number of trend Data points that Symantec ESM uses in the trend analysis report. You can decide to represent days or weeks as data points. Each data point represents a security level or score at the end of the day (11:59 PM) or week (11:50 on Saturday). The Grid and Chart depict the number of data points starting with the most recently available data point. If the available data is less than the number of data points, Symantec ESM depicts what is available. ESM then and repeats the last data point for the remaining periods.
To set trend datapoints
In the Trend Datapoints dialog box, in the Data Points area, do one of the following:
In the Number of Dataponits box, type the number of data points that you want Symantec ESM to use when charting trend analysis. Alternatively, click the up or down arrow to enter a value. The value in the Number of Datapoints box is 10 by default.
