The Security report lists security-related data that is located in the Summary branch of the Enterprise tree. You can generate a Security report from the Report menu or from any node in the Summary branch of the Symantec ESM tree. You can also select which levels in the Symantec ESM Tree to include in or exclude from the report. By using a Summary Data filter, you can generate the report that is based on specific policies, modules, or operating systems. You can also use the Summary Data filter to include suppressed security messages or message differences in the Security report.
The Security report identifies which policy run provides the information for each module. For example, if the most recent run involves a single module, the report lists the most recent run number for that module, and the most recent prior run numbers for each of the other modules. The report portrays findings in the same tabular and graphical formats as the Symantec ESM Grid and Chart.
You can create a Security report from the Report menu or from any node in the Summary branch of the Symantec ESM Tree.
