Use the Audit Log Configuration dialog box to enable the Audit Log for a selected ESM manager. You can use the Audit log to keep a record of Symantec ESM events and ensure that users do not make unauthorized changes. You can view the logged Symantec ESM events in the Audit Log Viewer. Audit log files can potentially take up large amounts of disk space; therefore, Symantec ESM lets you set a maximum file size for the Audit log file. When the log file size reaches the designated maximum, Symantec ESM automatically purges the old records.
