Replicate policy

The Replicate policy dialog box displays the name and version of the policy that you have selected to replicate.

The Replicate policy dialog box also lets you do the following:

Overwrite the existing policy without backup

Lets you specify if you want files with the same names to be overwritten without taking a backup.

Take backup

Lets you take a backup of the policy existing in the target manager, if you do not want the existing policy to be overwritten.

Backup file name

Displays the default name for the backup file. The format of the backup file is policy name_version_current date and time. You can enter your own backup file name in the text box.

Overwrite if a backup file by the same name already exists

Lets you specify if you want to overwrite if a policy backup file by the same name exists in the target manager.

Abort replication

Lets you terminate the policy replication process in case of file name conflicts.

Preserve old file(s)

Lets you continue the policy replication process without overwriting the files with the same name.

Overwrite the existing file(s)

Lets you overwrite files with the same name.
