Shutdown without logon (Windows)

This check verifies that the Shutdown button is disabled in the Logon screen. This prevents unauthorized users from shutting down the system without logging on to the system.

Description:A user can shut down the system without logging on. This allows anyone to interrupt system operations. Disable this function if the system is secure from power interruptions. Set the following registry value to 0: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\system\shutdownwithoutlogon.
