Reserved UID ranges (UNIX)

Module: Account Integrity

This option lets you specify reserved user ID ranges for different operating systems to be used with the Reserved UID/GID check. If no range is specified for a particular operating system, the default ranges will be used. Entries in this list should be in the format <OS>:<RANGE>, where <OS> is the name of the operating system to use and <RANGE> is one or more user-defined ranges. A colon is used to separate these two values. Possible values for <OS> include AIX, HP-UX, Linux and Solaris. Possible values for <RANGE> include a single value (e.g. AIX:5), a hyphen-separated range of values (e.g. AIX:0-10), or a list of ranges delimited by semicolons (e.g. AIX:0-5;10;15-20).
