Service wrappers (UNIX)

This option lets you specify any service wrappers that are to be reported by the Installed services check. Service wrappers are services that are prepended to other services on the system (such as itawrap, which preprocesses a service on the system for security reasons).

Service wrappers are services that are prepended to other services on the system. Unauthorized service wrappers can be a security risk. You should remove any unauthorized service wrappers from your /etc/inetd.conf or xinetd.conf file.
