Creating and editing your own policies

Creating and editing the Symantec ESM policies requires Create New Policies and Modify Policy access rights. You can add a new policy or copy an existing policy. After creating a policy, edit it to add or delete the modules that the policy runs when it executes.

Note:

The manager does not keep multiple copies of policies with the same names. If users on different consoles add different policies with the same names, the latest version of the new policy overwrites all previous versions.
