For this procedure, you can back up the encryption key that Microsoft® Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) 2010 uses when encrypting data. It is strongly recommended that you save the encryption key to a floppy disk and keep it in a secure location for restore procedures. To complete this procedure, you must be logged on as a member of the FIMSyncAdmins security group.
