The Contains method determines if the ValueCollection contains an element that matches a string value.

Parameters

val

Contains a string value to search for in the ValueCollection.

Return Value

Returns true if the ValueCollection object contains an element that matches val or false if it does not.

Exceptions

Exception type Condition
System.ArgumentNullException

The argument is null.
System.InvalidOperationException

The value of the val parameter cannot be converted to the data type of the collection.
