To configure whether to return expired objects
from the cache
In the console tree of ISA Server Management, click
Cache.
In the details pane, click the Cache Rules or Content
Download Jobs tab.
On the Tasks tab, click Configure Cache
Settings.
On the Advanced tab, select one of the following:
Do not return the expired object. If you select this
option, an error page will be returned.
Return the expired object only if expiration was. Select
this option to return an expired version of the object from the ISA
Server cache.
If you selected to return the expired object, specify the
Time to Live (TTL) limits for the object:
In At less than this percentage of original Time to
Live, specify the maximum percentage of the TTL. If the
expiration time exceeds this limit, the object is not
returned.
In But no more than, specify the maximum number of
minutes since the object expired. If the expiration time exceeds
this limit, the object is not returned.
Note
To open ISA Server Management, click Start, point to
All Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then
click ISA Server Management.
For ISA Server 2006 Enterprise Edition, expand
Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration
Server 2006, expand Arrays, expand
Array_Name, expand Configuration, and then
click Cache.
For ISA Server 2006 Standard Edition, expand Microsoft
Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006, expand
Server_Name, expand Configuration, and then
click Cache.
