To configure how Web chaining rules retrieve
requests
In the console tree of ISA Server Management, click
Networks.
In the details pane, select the Web Chaining tab, and
then select the applicable Web chaining rule.
On the Tasks tab, click Edit Selected Rule.
On the Action tab, select one of the following options:
To retrieve the requested object directly from the Internet,
click Retrieving them directly from the specified
destination.
If an upstream server should service the request, click
Redirecting them to a specified upstream server. Then, do
the following:
To allow the Web server to which the request is redirected to
authenticate the client, select Allow delegation of basic
authentication credentials.
Configure the backup route.
If the request should be redirected to a different computer,
click Redirecting them to a hosted site and configure the
site, port, and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) port.
(Optional) If you route the request directly to the specified
destination or to an upstream server, select the Use automatic
dial-up for the primary route check box.
(Optional) If you route the request directly to an upstream
server and you specify a backup route, select the Use automatic
dial-up for the backup route check box.
Notes
To open ISA Server Management, click Start, point to
All Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then
click ISA Server Management.
For ISA Server 2006 Enterprise Edition, expand
Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration
Server 2006, expand Arrays, expand
Array_Name, expand Configuration, and then
click Networks.
For ISA Server 2006 Standard Edition, expand Microsoft
Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006, expand
Server_Name, expand Configuration, and then
click Networks.
