To configure Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA)
Server 2006, you first define the ISA Server network topology
and create network rules to specify how traffic moves between
networks. Next, you can enable caching and configure cache
properties, enable application and Web filters,
and define general administrative and security settings.
Use the links in the Configuration node of the console tree to
help you configure the following:
Servers. View array member status. Configure
server-specific properties.
Networks. Configure your ISA Server networks and define
how traffic is sent between them. For more information, see Networking.
Cache. Enable caching, define how Web objects are
cached, and create content download jobs. For more information, see
Caching.
Add-ins. Apply additional security to ISA Server by
enabling application filters and Web filters. For more information,
see Add-ins.
General. Define global administrative and configuration
settings for this ISA Server computer.
