Important
When you select this option, a link translation dictionary is
automatically created. In most cases, you will not need to add more
entries to the default dictionary.
ISA Server only performs link translation on HTML document
strings, such as internal computer names, that are specified in UCS
Transformation Format 8 (UTF-8) format.
When you select this option, links in Web content using
internal server names will be translated to the public name. Local
and global mappings will be applied to this publishing rule.
Link translation is not applied to rules that publish FTP
servers.
After you click Apply in the details pane, the policy is
updated. The new policy applies only to new connections.
When link translation is enabled, the rule must specify an
explicit public domain name. The domain name cannot include an
asterisk (*).
