To configure a Web listener to listen for HTTP
or SSL requests
In the console tree of ISA Server Management, click
Firewall Policy.
On the Toolbox tab, click Network Objects.
Expand Web Listeners, and select the applicable Web
listener.
On the toolbar beneath Network Objects, click
Edit.
On the Preferences tab, select Enable HTTP if ISA
Server should listen for HTTP requests.
In HTTP port, type the port number on which ISA Server
listens for requests.
Select Enable SSL if ISA Server should listen for Secure
Sockets Layer (SSL) requests.
In SSL port, type the port number on which ISA Server
listens for SSL requests.
If you select Enable SSL, click Select to select
a certificate to use for SSL requests.
Notes
To open ISA Server Management, click Start, point to
All Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then
click ISA Server Management.
For ISA Server 2006 Enterprise Edition, expand
Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration
Server 2006, expand Arrays, expand
Array_Name, and then click Firewall
Policy.
For ISA Server 2006 Standard Edition, expand Microsoft
Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006, expand
Server_Name, and then click Firewall
Policy.
Important
The default HTTP port number for incoming Web requests is 80.
The default port number for outgoing Web requests is 8080.
Most Web browsers can only use port 443 for SSL
requests.
