In the console tree of ISA Server Management, click
Monitoring.
In the details pane, click the Alerts tab.
On the Tasks tab, click Configure Alert
Definitions.
Select the alert definition you want to edit, and then click
Edit.
On the Events tab, select the Number of
occurrences check box, and type how many events must occur
before the alert is issued.
Select the Number of events per second check box, and
type how many events must occur per second before the alert is
issued.
Select one of the following options:
If the alert should be reissued immediately if the event
recurs, click Immediately.
If the alert should be reissued only after the alert is reset,
click Only if the alert was manually reset.
If the alert should be reissued after a specified amount of
time, click If time since last execution is more than
Number minutes, and then type the number of minutes that
should elapse before the action should be performed.
Notes
To open ISA Server Management, click Start, point to
All Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then
click ISA Server Management.
For ISA Server 2006 Enterprise Edition, expand
Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration
Server 2006, expand Arrays, expand
Array_Name, and then click Monitoring.
For ISA Server 2006 Standard Edition, expand Microsoft
Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006, expand
Server_Name, and then click Monitoring.
Important
You can modify the event associated with an alert definition
only if that event is not already associated with a different alert
definition.
An alert will be triggered after the number of occurrences you
specify occurs. For example, if you specify 5, the alert will be
triggered on the sixth occurrence of the event. Similarly, an alert
will be triggered after the number of seconds you specify occurs.
For example, if you specify 5 seconds, the alert will be
triggered after six seconds pass.
