Edit an alert definition

To edit an alert definition

In the console tree of ISA Server Management, click Monitoring.
In the details pane, click the Alerts tab.
On the Tasks tab, click Configure Alert Definitions.
On the Alert Definitions tab, select an alert definition, and then click Edit.

Notes

To open ISA Server Management, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then click ISA Server Management.
For ISA Server 2006 Enterprise Edition, expand Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006, expand Arrays, expand Array_Name, and then click Monitoring.
For ISA Server 2006 Standard Edition, expand Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006, expand Server_Name, and then click Monitoring.

Important

An event is a runtime condition for which an ISA Server service generates a notification that can trigger an alert. The event that triggers a specific alert is identified by the event type and, for event that have additional conditions, by an additional condition. Additional conditions can be used to define different alerts for very specific conditions.
To disable an alert definition, clear the check box next to the name of the alert.
