Notes
To open ISA Server Management, click Start, point to
All Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then
click ISA Server Management.
After you create a protocol, you can apply one or more
application filters to the protocol. When you apply an application
filter, that filter will perform additional filtering
functionality.
For ISA Server 2006 Enterprise Edition, protocols that are
defined or modified at the enterprise level can be used in
array-level rules. However, these enterprise-level protocols cannot
be modified at the array level.
Only protocols that are defined as outbound can be used in
server publishing rules.
For protocols used in access rules, protocol direction should
be outbound. For server publishing rules, protocol direction should
be inbound.
After you click Apply in the details pane, the policy is
updated. The new policy applies only to new connections.
