To allow specified source ports for an access
rule
In the console tree of ISA Server Management:
For ISA Server 2006 Enterprise Edition, for a specific
enterprise policy, expand Microsoft Internet Security and
Acceleration Server 2006, expand Enterprise, expand
Enterprise Policies, and then click
Enterprise_Policy.
For ISA Server 2006 Enterprise Edition, for array-level
firewall policy, expand Microsoft Internet Security and
Acceleration Server 2006, expand Arrays, expand
Array_Name, and then click Firewall
Policy.
For ISA Server 2006 Standard Edition, expand Microsoft
Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006, expand
Server_Name, and then click Firewall
Policy.
In the details pane, click the applicable access rule.
On the Tasks tab, click Edit Selected Rule.
On the Protocols tab, click Ports.
Select one of the following:
Click Allow traffic from any allowed source port if
traffic is allowed from any port on the allowed source clients, as
specified on the From page.
Click Limit access to traffic from this range of source
ports if traffic is only allowed from ports on the allowed
source clients, as specified on the From page. Then, in
From and To, type the range of source ports
allowed.
Note
To open ISA Server Management, click Start, point to
All Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then
click ISA Server Management.
Important
You can only limit access from specific ports for primary
connections.
After you click Apply in the details pane, the policy is
updated. The new policy applies only to new connections.
Configure specific source ports to limit client traffic to
traffic originating from the ports in that range.
