To configure which content to include in a
content download job
In the console tree of ISA Server Management, click
Cache.
In the details pane, click the Content Download Jobs
tab, and then select the applicable content download job.
On the Tasks tab, click Edit the Selected
Job.
On the Cache tab, in Cache content, select one of
the following options:
If all content should always be cached, even if the headers in
the request or response indicate that the object should not be
cached, click All content will be cached.
If content should be cached only if the headers in the request
or response indicate that the object should be cached, or if the
content is dynamic, click If source and request headers indicate
to cache, or if content is dynamic, then the content will be
cached.
If content should be cached only if the headers in the request
or response indicate that the object should be cached, click If
source and request headers indicate to cache, then the content will
be cached.
Notes
To open ISA Server Management, click Start, point to
All Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then
click ISA Server Management.
For ISA Server 2006 Enterprise Edition, expand
Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration
Server 2006, expand Arrays, expand
Array_Name, expand Configuration, and then
click Cache.
For ISA Server 2006 Standard Edition, expand Microsoft
Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006, expand
Server_Name, expand Configuration, and then
click Cache.
Important
When you select All content will be cached, all content
is cached, including the redirection responses (301, 302, and
307).
When you select If source and request headers indicate to
cache, or if content is dynamic, then the content will be
cached, even when the headers do not indicate to cache the
content, the content is cached, because it is dynamic.
