SSL bridging and tunneling

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) bridging refers to the ability of Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2006 to encrypt or decrypt client requests, and pass the request to a destination Web server. SSL tunneling refers to the establishment of a tunnel directly from the client to the Web server, with no intervention by ISA Server.
