When you import configuration information to an array or to the enterprise, you can select to import or to overwrite (restore).
When you choose to import the configuration, all the information in the specified .xml file will be added to the existing configuration information. This means that if you already have rules configured for the array or the enterprise, those rules will not be erased.
When you choose to overwrite, the existing configuration is erased. Only the configuration information in the imported .xml file will be defined for the array or enterprise.
