Important
Web publishing rules match incoming client requests to the
appropriate Web site on the Web server or Web farm.
On the Internal Publishing Details page of the wizard,
be sure to provide the internal site name information. This is not
the public name that clients type into a browser to connect to a
site. Provide the public name on the Public Name Details
page of the wizard.
You configure authentication delegation in the Web publishing
rule. For more information, see Delegation of
credentials.
You can create Web publishing rules that deny traffic, to block
incoming traffic that matches the rule conditions.
ISA Server does not treat paths as case sensitive. If your Web
server includes both foldera and folderA, and you
publish a path to one of the folders, both folders will be
published.
After you click Apply on the Apply Changes bar, the
policy is updated. The new policy applies only to new
connections.
