In the console tree of ISA Server Management, click
General.
In the details pane, click Configure Firewall
Chaining.
On the Firewall Chaining tab:
To use the primary connection method of ISA Server to access
the Internet, click Use the primary connection.
To forward the request to an upstream ISA Server computer,
click Chain to this computer and type the computer name in
the text box.
If you selected Chain to this computer, do the
following:
If the requested application requires authentication, select
the Use this account check box and click Set
Account.
In User, type a domain name and user name using the
following format: DomainName\UserName
In the Password and Confirm password text boxes,
type the password.
Notes
To open ISA Server Management, click Start, point to
All Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then
click ISA Server Management.
For ISA Server 2006 Enterprise Edition, expand
Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration
Server 2006, expand Arrays, expand
Array_Name, expand Configuration, and then
click General.
For ISA Server 2006 Standard Edition, expand Microsoft
Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006, expand
Server_Name, expand Configuration, and then
click General.
Important
In a Web Proxy chaining scenario, user names and passwords can
be specified using 7-bit characters only. Otherwise, Integrated
Windows authentication will fail on the downstream proxy
server.
We recommend that you specify the upstream computer's IP
address, rather than its name. Also, on the upstream computer,
configure the Firewall Client settings to manually select an ISA
Server computer. Then, specify an IP address for the ISA Server
computer, rather than a fully qualified domain name (FQDN).
