To enable auditing of Configuration Storage server permission settings (Enterprise Edition)

1. On the Configuration Storage server, click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Local Security Policy.
2. Click Security Settings, click Local Policies, and then click Audit Policy.
3. In the details pane, right-click Audit directory service access, and then click Properties.
4. Select Success and Failure.
