To change the order of an enterprise policy rule (Enterprise Edition)

ISA Server 2006 Enterprise Edition only

1. In the console tree of ISA Server Management, click the applicable enterprise policy:
2. • Expand Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006, expand Enterprise, expand Enterprise Policies, and then click Enterprise_Policy.
3. In the details pane, click the applicable rule.
4. On the Tasks tab, click Move Selected Rules Up or Move Selected Rules Down.

• To open ISA Server Management, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Microsoft ISA Server, and then click ISA Server Management.

Important

• Enterprise policy rules are categorized into two groups: rules that are processed before the firewall policy rules configured at the array to which the enterprise policy is applied, and rules that are processed after the array-level firewall policy rules. You can move enterprise policy rules from one group to another, thereby changing the effective policy at the array level.
• After you click Apply in the details pane, the policy is updated. The new policy applies only to new connections.
