To add a link translation dictionary entry for
a Web publishing rule
In the console tree of ISA Server Management, click
Firewall Policy.
In the details pane, click the applicable Web publishing
rule.
On the Tasks tab, click Edit Selected Rule.
On the Link Translation tab, select Replace absolute
links in Web pages.
Click Add.
In Replace this text, type a string. The Link
Translation Web filter searches the internal (published) Web site
for the string.
In With this text, type a string that the Link
Translation Web filter will use to replace occurrences in the
response page returned to the client.
Notes

Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006, expand

Important
Typically, the name specified in Replace this text might
contain names of internal sites and servers, which are inaccessible
to external clients.
Typically, the name specified in With this text might
contain names accessible to external clients, such as fully
qualified domain names (FQDN) of ISA Server.
When a client requests a range from an HTML (translatable)
page, the URL is not translated. That is, the response to the
client will be a range of the original server's response.
All entries specified in the link translation dictionary must
be explicit. For example, an entry that maps http://myInternal to
http://www.microsoft.com does not map http://myInternal:8080 to
http://www.microsoft.com:8080.
Dictionaries with a large number of entries, which are applied
to Web sites that include many links that require translation,
could detrimentally impact ISA Server performance.
