Important
This wizard helps you publish one or more SharePoint sites. The
sites may be hosted on one server, or on server farms.
Authentication between ISA Server and Windows SharePoint
Services is automatically configured to use the NTLM authentication
protocol, although the user can authenticate to ISA Server using
various protocols. Always use NTLM delegation for Windows
SharePoint Services.
ISA Server always forwards the client’s original http host
header to Windows SharePoint Services. This information, which
shows the zone that the remote client is coming from, is used by
alternate access mapping in Windows SharePoint Services.
After you click Apply in the details pane, the policy is
updated. The new policy applies only to new connections.
To complete the configuration of this Windows SharePoint
Services publishing rule, you may need to configure alternate
access mapping on the published SharePoint server with the public
name of the site and the client connection type.
