Enterprise Edition and Standard Edition

ISA Server Enterprise Edition supports the following functionality, which is not available in ISA Server Standard Edition:

• Can be deployed in multi-server arrays for better scalability, performance, fault tolerance, and centralized management.
• Supports two levels of policy management. Array policy can be applied to an entire array of servers. Enterprise policy can be applied to all the arrays in the organization.
• Has no restriction on number of processors on the ISA Server computer (The Standard Edition is limited to four processors.)

Some properties, methods, parameters, and values are available only with the Enterprise Edition. The reference information in Internet Security and Acceleration Server Reference makes note of each item that is available only for the Enterprise Edition.
