Firewall events are events that the Firewall service detects. An application filter has to be registered for specific events. If that event is detected by the Firewall service, the filter is attached to the related session. The filter can then monitor the session for events where a filter response, such as data filtering, might be needed.
In general, the events are generated both in the case of Firewall clients and SecureNAT clients. For more information and a list of events, see FwxFirewallEventType.
