Enabling a Filter

The following examples show how to enable a filter.

Visual Basic Example

Use the following Visual Basic code to enable an ISA Web filter:

Set objWebFilter = objFPC.Arrays.GetContainingArray.Extensions.WebFilters.Item(Guid)
objWebFilter.Enabled = True
objWebFilter.Save

Visual Basic Scripting Edition Example

To enable the filter, create a file called Enable.vbs, and then insert the following code:

set FPC = WScript.CreateObject("FPC.Root")
Set filters = FPC.Arrays.GetContainingArray.Extensions.WebFilters
Set mfilter = filters("{5b6f6af3-3928-44a3-90f6-c96295c51da6}")
mfilter.Enabled = True
mfilter.Save
WScript.Echo "done"
