FPCPublishing Object

The FPCPublishing object represents a container for two sub-objects that represent the two publishing features of ISA Server and their associated rules:

Server publishing processes incoming requests to internal servers, such as Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) servers, File Transfer Protocol (FTP) servers, Structured Query Language (SQL) servers, and others. Requests are forwarded downstream to an internal server, located behind the ISA Server computer. Server publishing rules determine how server publishing functions, essentially filtering all incoming and outgoing requests through the ISA Server computer.
Web publishing processes incoming requests for Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) objects on an internal Web server. Web publishing rules determine how ISA Server should intercept incoming requests for HTTP objects and whether ISA Server should respond on behalf of the Web server. Requests are forwarded downstream to an internal Web server, located behind the ISA Server computer.

Methods

Method	Description
Refresh	Reads the collection's configuration information from persistent storage, discarding any changes to the configuration that were not saved.
Save	Saves the object's configuration to persistent storage.

The following table lists the properties of the FPCPublishing object.

Property	Description
ServerPublishingRules	Gets the FPCServerPublishingRules collection of FPCServerPublishingRule objects used for other protocols publishing.
VendorParametersSets	Gets a reference to an object used to access a vendor's data.
WebPublishingRules	Gets a collection of all Web publishing rules.
