Data Filter Objects

A data filter object is a COM object that implements the IFWXDataFilter interface. The names of filter objects typically include the word combination DataFilter. In response to a Microsoft Firewall service network event, a session filter object may create a data filter object for a specific connection. A data filter object is provided with an internal and external socket, and can perform alternate or two-way data pumping between the two sockets for the connection. A data filter object can allow secondary connections.
