The AuthenticationEnabled property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether the authentication of downstream clients by the upstream proxy server on the primary route is enabled.

Parameters

pfEnabled
Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if the authentication of downstream clients by the upstream proxy server on the primary route is enabled, or to VARIANT_FALSE if such authentication is disabled.
fEnabled
Boolean value that specifies whether the authentication of downstream clients by the upstream proxy server on the primary route is enabled.

Return Values

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write.

Authentication should not be enabled unless a valid FPCCredentials object can be retrieved using the Credentials property.
