The UseDigestSSP property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether the ISA Server Web proxy will prefer Advanced Digest authentication over Digest authentication on a Windows Server 2003 computer.

Parameters

pfUseDigestSSP
Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if the Web proxy will prefer Advanced Digest authentication over Digest authentication on a Windows Server 2003 computer, or to VARIANT_FALSE if the Web proxy does not prefer Digest authentication.
fUseDigestSSP
Boolean value that specifies whether the Web proxy will prefer Advanced Digest authentication over Digest authentication on a Windows Server 2003 computer.

Return Values

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write. Its default value is VARIANT_TRUE, and it can be changed only programmatically.

After the value of this property has been changed, and the change has been saved by calling the Save method, the Microsoft Firewall service must be restarted for the change to take effect. The Firewall service can be restarted by calling the IFPCArray::RestartServices method.

Advanced digest authentication will be used only if the following conditions are met.
