Select anchor attributes

For this procedure, in Management Agent Designer, on the Select Anchor Attributes page, you must specify a unique and immutable attribute or attribute combination for each object type. This anchor attribute is used to correctly identify an object for safe management of the object and its attributes. The anchor attribute selected must be a single-value attribute or a multi-value attribute with only one value in use. To complete this procedure, you must be logged on as a member of the MIISAdmins security group.

This procedure applies to management agents for the following Microsoft Identity Integration Server 2003 editions:

Enterprise Edition Identity Integration Feature Pack for Active Directory
IBM Directory Server 4.1, Sun and Netscape directory servers that are specifically configured for Sun ONE Directory Server 4.12 or 4.13 (formerly iPlanet Directory Server) N\A
