For this procedure, you can stop a management agent run profile
that is currently running. Processing ends after the current
processing batch is completed and the management agent is then
released from memory. To complete this procedure, you must be logged on as a member of the MIISOperators security group or the MIISAdmins security group.
In Management Agent Operations, click the management
agent that you want to stop.
On the Actions menu, click Stop.
You must use Management Agents to run a management agent for
the first time. After you run the management agent at least once
from Management Agents, you can run it and stop it by using
All processing completed to the point when the processing is
stopped cannot be rolled back.
When attempting to stop a call-based management agent and
communication with the connected data source hangs, the management
agent will not respond to a Stop command for the length of
the Timeout value indicated in Step details of a run
profile step. By default this value is 30 seconds.
