Back up the Microsoft Identity Integration Server 2003 encryption key

For this procedure, you can back up the encryption key that Microsoft Identity Integration Server 2003 uses when encrypting data. It is strongly recommended that you save the encryption key to a floppy disk and keep it in a secure location for restore procedures. To complete this procedure, you must be logged on as a member of the MIISAdmins security group.

To back up the Microsoft Identity Integration Server 2003 encryption key

1. From a command window, change directory to InstallationDirectory\Bin.
2. Type:

   Miiskmu Parameter
