View properties of a search result

For this procedure, in Metaverse Search, you can view properties for an object that is displayed in a search query result. You can view the object's globally unique identifier (GUID), object type, attributes, and connectors (that is, those objects in a connector space that are connected to this object in the metaverse). You can also open properties for a connected object and disconnect connector objects. To complete this procedure, you must be logged on as a member of the MIISJoiners security group or the MIISAdmins security group.

To view properties of a search result

On the Tools menu, click Metaverse Search.
In Search Results, click a search result.
On the Actions menu, click Properties.

To perform this procedure, you must first search for an object and at least one column in Search Results must be populated. If you have performed a search, but you do not see a populated list in Search Results, you might need to configure additional columns so that they appear in Search Results.
