ManagementAgent.CreateDN (Value)

The CreateDN(Value) method creates a ReferenceValue object from a Value object.

Parameters

dn
Contains a Value object that contains the distinguished name from which the new object is derived. This method uses the ToString method of the Value object to obtain the distinguished name.

Return Values

Returns a ReferenceValue object that represents the distinguished name.

Exceptions

Exception type Condition
ArgumentNullException The argument is null.
InvalidDNException The distinguished name component represented by the dn parameter is not valid.
