The full scans scan any part or component of your computer for viruses and other threats at a specific time. These scans allow you to select the areas or items to scan and are carried out straight away.
These characteristics make full scans very useful for checking that there are no viruses or other threats hidden in new file received via USB pen drives, CD-ROM, DVD, email or downloaded from the Internet. The full scans can also scan all the components of your computer.

You can also scan directories or files from Windows Explorer. This is known as the right-click scan. To do this, click on the secondary (right) mouse button on the directory or file, and select Scan with Panda Antivirus Pro 2010.
When the scan is complete, the results are displayed. You will see the number of items scanned, infected, disinfected and renamed.
From this screen you can get more information about the scans performed. To view a detailed report, click Report This shows the events that have occurred, the date, time and result, etc.
