How to schedule a scan

 

To schedule a scan:

  1. Click Scan in the main Panda Antivirus Pro 2010 window.

  2. Click Schedule scan execution.

  3. Click on New scan.

  4. A screen welcoming you to the wizard is displayed. Click Next to continue.

  5. Select the items (drives, files, directories, etc.) you want to scan and click Add.

  6. Use the + symbols in the list to select the items you want to scan one-by-one and click OK. The items will be added to the list of items to scan.

  7. If you want to delete an item from the list, select it and click Remove.

  8. When you have added all of the items you want the new scan to check, click Next.

  9. Specify the characteristics of the scan and indicate whether it should be scheduled or not.

Settings button. Click on this button to access the scan configuration options. Using the tabs Scan, Actions and Warnings, specify the characteristics or properties of the new scan.

 

Schedule. Click this button to set the frequency the scan should be run automatically. For more information you can refer to Configuring scheduled scans: Scheduler tab in this Help.

  1. Click Next.

  2. Enter a name for the scan job you are creating and click Next.

  3. Click Finish.
