Unknown: TruPrevent Technologies prevent any malicious code that has attacked the computer from carrying out dangerous action.
Known: Panda Antivirus Pro 2010 has registered identification of thousands of malicious code in its Virus Signature File. When one of these tries to attack the computer, the program stops it.
Panda Antivirus Pro 2010 needs to carry out frequent updates (daily if possible) of this file, in order to register the details of newly appeared malware.
Panda Antivirus Pro 2010 can automatically carry out two types of updates:
Update: Update of the signature file.
Upgrade: Update of the signature file and inclusion of improvements that may have been made to the program.
