When Panda Antivirus Pro 2010 detects a file that cannot be disinfected, it sends it to
quarantine. The same occurs with suspicious files that could
represent a threat to your PC. The function of quarantine is to
isolate these types of files from your system until the solution is
available.
Files are kept in a safe place with no contact with
other files on your PC, ensuring the security of your system. Files
in quarantine cannot be used. You would first have to restore them
to their original location, after checking whether they are really
infected.
Every time Panda Antivirus Pro 2010 is updated, it re-scans files in quarantine to disinfect them if possible or return them to the original location if they are innocuous.
